Kallang Leisure Park

Went to Kallang Leisure Park for a walk this evening. Nothing much there except for d ice skating place which Giselle likes.

Giselle's Good Friend

Giselle has been meeting Kalista to play every week. Either they are blading or having fun at the basketball court below my block.

Kalista has been a thoughtful, patience and loving big jie jie to Giselle. Glad that 2 of them can get along well :)

Nothing to wish for myself... Just hope that both of them will grow up to be useful people and with good health and character...

Eversince my nanny has left, life has been busy for me. Hardly can find time to sit down and use the computer and no more "ME" time for the time being :(

However, life has been very fulfilling for me though, hands on taking care of Jaren and Giselle at the same time. Sometimes can hardly breathe but will starts to think back how am I going to manage to my time properly?!

So far, started to put Jaren on a routine and time is more predictable for me as in what I can do. When time allows, I will take a short nap with Jaren in the morning when Giselle is in school.

Before Giselle returns, I will quickly prepare lunch for her and myself. And at night, will quickly cook a simple dinner for all 3 of us. Just hope everyone gets to eat home cooked food rather than the food outside.

The picture (pls omit the newspaper as background, haha) shows a few dishes that I prepared yesterday. Well, presentation was really lousy, i know. hehe :p

Had been thinking of whether to get a cot mobile for Jaren until recently I find that it may help to keep Jaren entertained for a short while. Went to SMH forum to search and was very lucky to bought this new Tomy Disney Musical Cot Mobile for him. The mommy was very nice to even deliver to me personal since I need it urgently...

It was really a good buy at $50!

Caring Jie Jie...

Giselle so far has been very caring and protective towards Jaren which we are very happy and glad.

We have started to bring Jaren down for walks and Giselle is always very eager to push Jaren by herself. When we sat down at bench, she would talk to Jaren and talk anything under the trees... :)

He was feeling bored and I saw began to play with his hand. Then the next thing I know he suckled hate and long on it and resulted in this "LOVE BITE!!!".... hahaha

My Fantastic Confinement Nanny - Auntie Mei

I always thought my 1st confinement nanny during Giselle's time was very good. In fact, I was so fortunate to have a even better confinement nanny this round. Her name was Auntie Mei Hua, coincidentally, same name as my 1st nanny... haha :)

She came on 17 Mar 10, and when she first step in, she gave an ang pao to Jaren. Perhaps is one of the practice which I am not sure. Once she settled down abit, she began to bathe Jaren.

Auntie Mei Hua was a super caring, responsible and soft-spoken person which lotsa of patience (believe me, really lot of it!!). She took care of me and baby very well and I was really treated like a queen. haha. She never throw a black frustrated face and the food she cooked was very yummy. I've learnt from her how to cook better during the last of her 28 day stay with me.

Even though her main responsibility to take care of me and Jaren, she also took care of Giselle very well too. And my dear Giselle was very attached to her. Sometimes when her daddy wants to bring her out, she said she wanted to stay at home and be with auntie :) Anyway, I am glad that auntie and her can get along very well and speaks mandarin to each other. Due to this, I think Giselle's mandarin improve alot too.

During her last day stay with me, I gave her a big ang pao. Main thing is to thank her for her care and support all this while. Jaren was quite attached to her during her stay in my house and everytime he hears her voice, he would calm down.

I was really fortunate to engage 2 good nannies with my 2 kids. Thank God!!!

Jaren is One Month Old - The Party! (Part 2)

We invited some close friends over to our house to celebrate the arrival of Jaren in our family. As usual catering was boring, I had decided to get my nanny to cook for all of us! Her food was really yummy, especially the vinegar pig trotters which everyone loves it!


The lunch was completed with Ezee's cheese cake which everyone asked for 2nd helping. I think she must really go set up a shop to sell all her fantastics cake and breads!


All the adults and kids had alot of fun chatting and playing around. We had babies, toddlers, and young kids playing together.

Jaren is one month old! Part I

Our dear Jaren is finally one month old.. which means mommy need not be confined in the house any more... hehehe... Been looking forward to this day where I can do a complete make over of myself!!! Yeah!:)

I woke up early morning to have a good bath. My confinement nanny bathed Jaren at about 7+am. Surprisingly this morning weather was really wet. We brought Jaren to Waterloo Temple to pray and then I headed to the hair salon to have a good wash and cut...


Jaren was pretty excited about this day too as he gave a big beautiful smile to Giselle :)


Actually i had sneaked out over the last 2 days to do pedicure and facial as well to prepare for this "Big" day.. haha.


After hair was done, all of us headed to my in laws place for some praying and lunch. Thereafter, we headed home to have a good rest!

Daddy's Arm the most Comfy :)

We realised that Jaren can fall asleep in Daddy's arm quite fast than me. Probably because he knows Daddy doesn't have the nipple that he wants... so he know fuss also no use.. haha

Jaren at 3 weeks old

His rashes is so much better now... Thanks to Dr Qi from EYS who gave me a simple method. That is to clean with the water from washing raw rice and squeeze a few drops of lemon in it...

Jaren's neck is getting stronger each day and my confinement nanny is amazed by his fast advancement. He is also about to turn to his side on his own and that means we have to secure him properly when leaving him alone.

Sometimes when Jaren cries, Giselle's voice and songs can calm him down. Probably that's because he can recognise his jie jie voice. He is also more conscious nowadays, his awake times is more and can stare and look at people.

Another week for my confinement to end. Now I am busy ordering full month cakes, Medela Freestyle pump and Pikkolo Baby carrier from States :)
