Renovations.. Really lotsa of Headaches...

We just confirmed our renovation for our new house with Weiken.com at IMM just 2 weeks ago. Adrian has left everything for me to decide and liaise with the designer and site coordinate.

It is a really stressful week for me as I want to confirm on the designs and all materials so that we can kick start the renovations next week.

Finally had made a trip alone to Tradehub 21 to meet up with the contractor and confirmed most of the things... I was so tired after this 2.5hours of meeting.

Though I have no interest for such things but I guess I just have to try my best to do up the house as the house will be for my most beloved ones...

Mosquito Bite again on her eyelid...

My poor little girl had another bite on her eyelid which I noticed this morning when her left eyelid was abit pinkish. I think this is already the 3rd time it happened since birth.

Had told her teacher to apply aloe vera gel on her eyelid. However, her teacher had a fright when Giselle eyelid turn bulging swollen after her nap. Ms Angela quickly called me said could be due to the cream that she had applied on her. I told her the swellness was expected and assure her that it has nothing to do with the gel. Hopefully her eyelid will recover faster than expected.

Gong Gong... Where is my Gong Gong!!!

Giselle has been very close and sticky to her Gong Gong since a couple of weeks ago. When he is at my house, Giselle will stick to him and they will play very happily together till she is so possessive of her Gong Gong. There will be a blue chair that my father will sit on it everytime he plays with her. If me or Adrian were to sit on the chair if my father is around, she will push us away... Really don't know what to say of her... really very disrespectful to her parents.

Nonetheless, Adrian and I are glad that both of them share a special bonding with each other. I still remember my father didn't really know how to play with her when she was a baby. When she grows up, she had also kept a distance from my father till recent. Can see both of them enjoyed each other company... :)

Social Skills.....

Parents were invited to Delcare for cirriculum briefing today. Besides bringing up the issue on Mandarin exposure, her daddy also brought up a valid point on the social skills of a child.

Her daddy and I were concerned on Giselle being very shy in front of someone whom she's unfamiliar with . Perhaps it is part and parcel of her growing up, but we find she lack the social skills that others has no problem with. However, the fortunate thing is we are glad that she interacts with others in school.

We hope that she will overcome this and be more open in front of strangers.

Her Mandarin is getting Better....

Eversince her new chinese teacher Dai Lao Shi has taken over the class, Giselle's mandarin has improve quite alot. She can sing teach me many chinese nursery rhymes and songs. She likes to do all the actions and show it to me...


I can feel that she has enjoyed her lessons alot in school... :) Ms Angela and Dai Lao Shi are doing a great job!!!

Strike a Pose! At Swimming Pool... hahaha

Been a long time since we brought her for swimming, hence she immediately said 'YES' when I asked her if she wants to go for dip... We reached Safra about 9.30am.

Then I started to think those days when we brought her for swimming.......

Going, Going, Gone!!!!!

Finally her fever was gone by this morning.... after 5 long long days....

Been so worried during the last 5 days when her stubborn fever refused to go away. Ms Angela and Wang Lao Shi were quite concern about her and will sent smses to me to check on her. They are really a pair of caring teachers.

Well, today was my birthday and was glad she was well enough to go out with me. We went to her daddy office at about 11am and later went to IMM to look for some renovation quotations.

Giselle was quite tired and so slept in the car from Orchard to IMM for about 45mins. Later, she slept at home from 4.30pm till 7pm and played with her Gong-Gong all the way when her energy got charged back.

Adrian and I took the opportunityt to go Tiong Bahru Plaza to buy a cake to celebrate my birthday. Hoping she could sing a birthday song for me but she didn't though she really enjoyed eating a slice of cake on her own :)
