See I can Walk!

Jaren has been starting to walk more and more these days. His legs are getting stronger and he has been practising his steps very often....

It started with 2 steps, then 4 steps, then 7 steps to 10 steps. All within a few days... All of us were so surprised! Giselle is the most excited of all. She would report to me happily how many steps that Jaren took each time and she seems to be my little butler for Jaren.

Really glad to have her around to help me out whenever my hands are full :)

It's Time for Lo-Hei again!!!!! :)

This year, my family had our Lo-Hei at Loy Sum Juan restaurant at Tanjong Pagar. This Cantonese restaurant used to be at Tiong Bahru Plaza for many years until they shifted to this new place.

The food was yummy and service was very good too!

It's Mummy's Birthday today!

Just wanted to take a good break today, so asked my mum to come over to take care of the kids while me and Adrian went out for a good meal :)

Brought my family to Labrador Park for some strolling along the beach. My little Jaren, maybe a frog in a well, began to show fear of the sea waves when they came hitting against the rock. Maybe his lazy mummy didn't bring him out often enough. haha.

Giselle on the other hand was having much fun running about with his daddy. My mum came over in the afternoon. Hence Adrian and I went to Vivo City for some shopping and dinner. Had enjoy this date because at least I can eat my meal in peace (without having to attend to the kids).

Once the wonderful things that happened on my birthday was that I met my ex-boss, Lucy Yeo. She was the best boss that I ever had since I started work at the age of 17.

Xinyi is really a sweet little girl who is really Giselle look-alike in terms of character... No wonder they can get along so well when we were at Xinyi's Daddy house for a gathering on saturday.

They were playing, laughing so loudly that I really have to ask them to quiet down. Well, I was glad that they enjoyed each company very much :)

It is the time of the year again! The time for gatherings and gatherings! :)
Well, this year is slightly different as we have a new addition in our family. It was also Jaren's first taste of what's Chinese New Year is like.

As usual, we gave out angpows to Giselle and Jaren in the morning before heading to my grandma and my in-laws' house to receive guests.

Probably Jaren wasn't used to big crowds, he was practically crying and relatives tried to play and carried him. When adults gave him angpows, he would throw them on the floor... *faintz*

Giselle on the other hand was enjoying every minute of the gathering at my in-laws' house. I remember when she was much younger like Jaren, she too, wasn't used to the big crowd. Hope Jaren will be like his Jie jie as he grows older :)

Eve of Lunar Chinese New Year

Today was really a big rush to all of us.

Last minute we decided to head to ION Orchard for lunch and bought some CNY clothes for Adrian and myself.

Then came home to nap for a while before heading to my grandma's house and my in-law's house for reunion dinners. Yes, every year would be the same - 2 houses. But fortunately, both families are staying in the same block at Lengkok Bahru. Phew! :)
