KL Christmas Trip 06

Age: 17 Months 8 days
Trip: 23 - 26 Dec 06

I had managed to made her sleep at 6.30pm the nite before. Giselle had to wake up at 4am on the day of set off. And I had prepared her porridge overnite. She slept in the car for about 30mins when we reached the Tuas check point. She was basically fine throughout the journey but when she reached the KL exit tollway , she began to get very cranky till we reached Traders Hotel.

We had updgrade the room to a suite with executive club access. Giselle simply enjoyed this lounge with Ethan. Both of them like to take off their shoes and ran about, imitating one and another. I basically fed Giselle with porridge and bread, eggs and waffles in the morning. Lunch will be milk at times. Evening will be western food, snacks during the day.

She is bascially well-known in the lounge for spilling drinks on the table. Luckily the service staff were all very patient and understanding. She loves the playpool found at the park in front of our park. Weather was fine in KL and KLCC was just 10 min away from our hotel.

Trader Hotel overall was very nice. Our whole family enjoyed our stay there. On christmas eve, there was even christmas carole singing at the lounge and Giselle and I enjoyed it together. But she fell asleep 10mins after they started because she was really tired.

Basically she slept well over there but on the 2nd and 3rd nite, she did make a little noise. She loved the bathroom and myself and her actually had the chance to shower together.

I bought a lot of clothes and 2 pairs of shoes for her which were quite cheap. She loved seeing the water fountain at KLCC and the huge christmas tree there.

When we were at the department store, she refused to hold our hands and like to wander off by herself. Then Adrian and I wanted to teach her a lesson by hiding ourselves when she kept looking for us. The look of her lost face was so pitiful when she cried out loud, and couldn't find us.. I can't imagine how she will feel if she really lose us outside one day.

We extended our stay for another nite. On the last day on 26th dec, we brought her for a dip at jacuzzi. She loved it. Initially she was very resistant to the pool, bubbles and hot tub, but after that she was ok. We took some pictures at our room with the Twin towers as background. She would always remember the building has Twinke Twinkle little stars.
