A Fun Day at Sentosa

We suddenly decided to bring her to Sentosa today for a picnic and some beach fun because there wasn't any swimming class today.

She had fun playing at the waterplay area near Palawan beach and in front of the Koufu foodcourt.

Thereafter, we lay our beach mat and on the sand, under a big tree for her sand play. Her Daddy wanted to encourage her Giselle to go into the sea with him. Intially Giselle was very skeptical at this idea and jumped whenever the waves came.

During the sand play time, she met another 4 year old whom joined Giselle.

After showering Giselle, we headed to the foodcourt for lunch and left the place about 2pm when the sun was scorching hot then

Her First Concert with Delcare - Hooray to The Little Red Hen

Today is finally the day after so many practices and quite a few rehearsals. Ms Angela said Giselle did pretty well during the rehearsals.

The ceremony started with the graduation of K2 students in their graduation gowns. All of them look so smart and happy. One by one went up the stage to receive the certificate from their principal, Ms Jeanette Tan. Then this thought came to my mind that Giselle would be wearing the gown in 2 years time... Wow, can't imagine my little girl would be growing so fast :)
After that, the real show began. All the kids had their own character to play. As it was a farm setting, the kids were dressed in different animal costumes and all of them looked so adorable, especially the young toddlers... Most of them could sing very well too. Well, thanks to the choirs at the side of the stage.

Giselle's roles in the whole story was to be a green grass and a windmill. When it was her turn to do the actions/dance that she was supposed to do, she didn't really do it. In fact, she liked to show the audience her pouted lips and I had a good laugh at it... Nevertheless, we are still very proud of her guts :)

She looked quite cool and relax when she was on stage but I am not sure if she acted cool when she was panicky inside. Hahaha, anyway, it was a very good exposure for her and the rest of her classmates. Could see the teachers of Delcare had put alot of effort in creating a pleasant surprise for all the parents. Adrian and I had enjoyed the show, especially watching our little girl on stage.... :)

Giselle's new Swimming Coach

Today Giselle's usual lady coach was on mc and her class was taken by Coach Herman. I was very glad that she has the chance to take lesson with this male coach as I noticed he could teach very well, much better than her existing coach.
Since I have to pay for a new term of school fees, I approached this new coach directly and told him I would like Giselle to follow him from the next class onwards. Luckily he was willing to slot Giselle into one of his class :)

Batam View Resort Villa

Giselle and me had joined her Daddy's company trip with all his staff and colleagues. We departed Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at about 10+am and check into the villas that his company has pre-booked.

The Villa was a seafront unit with part of the it built on the sea. The view from the balcony was very nice although the water was a little dirty. Giselle was so happy and excited the moment she stepped into the villa. She ran round and round and jumped and played on the bed laughing non-stop.

Adrian and I were very glad and thankful that Adria's cousin, Siew Tian (Lala) loved Giselle very much and helped us to take care of her. We called her our PT nanny for Giselle :)

Adrian's colleague organised Games nearby the swimming pool and all of them had endless fun and laughter.

For me, I like to laze at the balcony, overlooking the sea and enjoying the sea breeze...

Oh, I had forgot to introduce Giselle new-found boyfriend, Yi Peng, who adores Giselle so much that he kept kissing and hugging her ... hahaha... Giselle was simply overwhelmed!!!

She is 40 months old now...

Wow! Can't believe she is coming to 3.5 year old soon... This cheeky gal is getting taller and taller now, more talkative with lots of lots of questions.
Had started her Chinese enrichment class 3 weeks ago at Berries World (Palais Renaissance branch) and she seems to like it although she is a little quiet in class. Well, that's her character and her teachers also noticed it. Since it is a new environment to her , she will take some time to get use to it and open herself up to new friends and teachers. But I am proud of her that she did not cry nor want to stick to me when I bid her goodbye.

Giselle's favourite meal - Macaroni with mixed veggies

Giselle loves macaroni very much and likes it when I prepare for her in a colourful way... with all her favourite ingredients like Fish Balls, Broccoli, Baby corn etc... :)

Her 1st swimming lesson with Seal School

Today is her official first swimming lesson that we have enrolled her in. It was held at Mt Faber Safra, 11am for an hour. The fee is $50 for 4 lessons.

It was drizzling this morning and we were hesitant to bring her there. We decided to try out after giving her some warm food.

She got excited when she reached the pool but when the lady coach wanted to bring her into the water, so scared and kept shaking her head. Luckily she managed to warm up to the coach and began to let the coach guide her in the pool. Today lesson was mainly to dip and dip in the water, up to the chin level...

The goggles was given by her school was a little too big, hence she looked so funny! hahaha
