She's Amazing...!!!

We just brought her to Labrador Park to take and walk and she had fun watching the helicopters hovering in the sky to get ready for the NDP preview tonite. She was so excited and kept shouting "Heli-kok-ker"....

While she was running towards her Daddy at the park, she had a fall and scratched both her knees. However, luckily she wore pants and they were just a minor scratch.

This week, I noted that she has learnt how to wear her shoes on her own without any of adult's help. And she is so proud of her new-found skill and loves to wear shoes everyone and then to show us (even we are not letting her out of the house).

Just putting before she fell asleep tonite, she was singing "Wheels-on-the-bus" song. Initially I was trying to figure out what actually she was singing until she sang "... all thru the town"....

Then when her Daddy was stirring his cup of Milo in the kitchen, she heard the stirring sound and told me "Daddy make coffee". I mean kids are really smart nowadays and can really pick up things unexpectedly.

Stand At The Corner

Last Saturday, Giselle was made to stand behind my main door holding a tissue box for pulling out tissues from the box playfully. She just refused to take my instructions to stop playing with it.

Then yesterday, I was told by her chinese teacher that she made her English Teacher cried. Apparently Giselle refused to drink her water and had pour out the water from her cup to the floor. She din stop when told to and continue to pour and played with the water on the floor. Ms Angela was so mad at her when she din take her instruction. Ms Priya and Wang Lao Shi took over her when Ms Angela was tearing. Giselle was made to stay in the Baby Room and she was wailing for a long time there.

I told Giselle off when I picked her and told her to say sorry to Ms Angela. She knew that Ms Angela was very angry at her and was rather afraid to face her. When back at home, I had told Giselle to help make a Sorry card to Ms Angela. Basically she pasted the Hello Kitty pix on the front card and print a palm of her right hand using red water colour.

Today she handed the card to Ms Angela when she was carrying Giselle. Later evening, Ms Angela called me and said Giselle vomitted twice. Her body was quite warm when I picked her and she was down with fever. Managed to make her sleep early while I update her blog.

Her 1st Sunglass.....:)

We bought this sunglass for her thinking she may have fun playing with it since she likes to play with specs so much... and True enough, she will put them on and pose everything we say "Wow! So pretty!"... Hahaha, what a vain little gal....

She has been down with runny nose since yesterday morning. Ms Angela told me that she throw out her dinner while she was feeding her. It was just a cough and out came all the food. However, Giselle is still as active and cheeky as per normal. I din bring her to the doctor but just gave her some cold relief and lotsa of water.

Today lunch wasn't much appetite for her as well. Brought her to Sim Lim Square as her Daddy need to get something. Reached home at 2pm+ and she fall asleep almost immediately when I put her down for her afternoon nap.

Just a few days ago, Ms Angela when telling me how naughty Giselle was. She took the mini-dustbin on her table and poured all the tissue out and played with them. Ms Angela told her not to but she simply wanted to challenage Ms Angela. Hence, Giselle was made to stand as her usual corner holding the mini-dustbin. Of course, she was wailing while standing there. hahaha. I really cannot hold my laughter when I imagine the scene her being punished to hold the dustbin.

Giselle is Finally 2 TODAY!!!!!:)

Just a blink of eyes and she's oredi 2 today! How time just flew passed and every moment with her is just so precious, enjoyable and memorable.

She had a great time this morning opening all the presents given by all Aunties and Uncles. Nothing special that we are going to do for her today as she had has her 3 celebrations done over the past weeks and her Daddy has given the red light of "No more Cakes, please!". Haha

The presents were some animal puzzles, a Disney storybook, her favourite Hello Kitty Kitchen set and a LeapFrog Pad given by my good friends. Others were some Hello Kitty Sling Pouch and some flashcards. While she was doing the puzzles, she can identify and prounced correctly all the animals including hippotusmus (which I can't even spell correctly)... Really proud of her and also reminds me that she has learnt and grown up so much. Btw, she is now about 84 cm and 11.9kg.... No wonder my arms are aching so much from carrying her.

Her 2nd Birthday Bash!!!.... Part 2!!!!

...............Ms Priya .................................................Ms Joanna...................................

I had ordered a Hello Kitty cake from Polar cake shop for Giselle to have a mini celebration with her teachers and friends at Del-care. The cake and snacks were delivery by me to her centre when she was taking her afternoon nap.

Ms Angela (English teacher)... Wang Lao Shi (chinese teacher) ......... Ms Grace ........................................ Ms Quek

Didn't want to join as I prefer her to have fun with her peers and teachers alone. Wang Lao Shi has bought her a big Hello Kitty Cushion and Ms Angela has bought her a Hello Kitty cap. It was really very very nice gesture of them to prepare gifts for Giselle. It is heartwarming to know that they actually love her alot even though they often complain to me how naughty and cheeky she was.

Was told by her teachers that she was very solemn during the cake cutting ceremony. She gave that blurr look during the photo taking. I was looking at the group pixs and her classmates were all very cute. Only Vivien clapped and another of her classmate clapped their hands when the birthday song was sung. Giselle was just standing there stoned. Hahaha....Nevertheless, I was glad to know that she took the 1st bite of her birthday cake today :)

Her 2nd Birthday Bash!!!! Part 1!!!

Giselle had her joint celebration today with Daryl who is turning 1 year old on 29 Jul. The bash was held at The Bayshore function room, courtesy of my good friend, Teresa. My dear friend had helped us prepared lotsa things like party packs, banners, Disney table cover and many many more. Really thanks to her for helping to me today's party so enjoyable.

My gal has enjoyed herself thoroughly with every kid, bb, adult... She could go around hugging and kissing everyone without much shyness. I guess she really had benefitted this from her cc and no longer that shy and sticky to me. At times, when Adrian and I were talking to friends, she would go play by herself or with Keith. And one thing, she loved the swimming pool so much there that she nearly wanted to plunge in. My father-in-law was telling he couldn't even control much of her.

The food from YLS catering was great with 70% gone as me and Joanne had ordered extra headcounts. The 2-tier birthday day was from Pine Garden and it was very nicely decorated with Sesame Street figures. Oh btw, must thank Joanne's hb, Terence for being the hero for a few times to get the escaped big helium Disney princess balloon that kept flying up the ceiling.

Just before the cake cutting ceremony, Daryl had fallen asleep and poor him had to be waken up to cut the cake with Giselle.

Giselle din manage to sleep for long during the party, and on the journey back, she kept playing with the party pack that Teresa got for her.

Can see that as she grow older, she will appreciate all these parties more and more with her peers around.

At the Library...

Brought her to library this evening and she loves reading animals book as well as a Fire station book that I got for her.

Coming to 2 years old next Sunday, she can speak in sentences, telling me what Mother Duck, baby Duck, Chicken, chicks...etc... I am quite surprise as we taught her only once or twice of such words.
After we left the library, there was a rental of battery operated children's car just outside Bukit Merah Central NTUC... She indicated that she wanted to sit in it and so we decided to let her try. She enjoyed so much that she refused to let us touch her steering wheel and kept wanting to go for another ride. We had a hard time distracting her.

I Am a Fire Fighter Today!!!:)

Her school had organised a trip to Alexandra Fire Station this morning. Though it was drizzling, Adrian and I thought it would be cooling weather to start off.

Initially Giselle was abit afraid being at the station. However, things started to warm up when she saw her favourite buddy,Ethan, and also how other kids enjoyed themselves.

She was given a fire fighter hat and she simply loves it. We taught her what's fire engine and how the firemen will put out the fire. She went up the mini-fire engine and had fun with the steering wheel. She was also very proud that she shook the hands of a real fire fighter.

When she reached home, she simply couldn't have enough fun of playing with the 4 fire fighter hats that she took form the tour. Even when she took the afternoon nap, she has to "hug" the hat to fall asleep.

We ended the day by bringing her to the library and borrow a fire station book as a recap of what fire station, firemen is all about.
