Singing her grace...

Though Giselle's school is not a christian school, her teacher will teach them to sing a grace in mandarin and english version before they start to eat their food. Below is the English version:

Hort Park @ Alexandra

Brought Giselle to Hort Park to take a look this morning when the weather was quite nice and cooling...

It wasn't too crowded there and we left the place when the sun starts to come out... Quite a nice place to be in with alot of greenery, nice structures, koi pond and playground around... Giselle had some fun playing there...

She saw my father wearing sunglasses and insisted that she put on one too. She was so proud of her look after that :)

Mini-Cupcakes session

Since everyone was so into making cupcakes recently and I haven't been baking for a long time, I decided to let Giselle have some fun with it this afternoon.

Her only contribution was adding raisins to the cupcakes beside being a destroyer. We were doing the preparation on the dining and I just sneaked out to the kitchen for awhile... when I came back, half of my flour was gone, onto the table and floor... really **faintz**. I kept my cool and asked to wipe everything herself.

The mini-cupcakes were quite ok as it wasn't too sweet... texture wise, can't comment much but I would say they were edible.... hahaha.. But there's a hole on top of the cupcakes as I took out the raisins after they turned ''chao-ta'' after baking... ;p

Giselle turns 3 today...Happy Birthday Giselle!!!:)

Today was a tired yet very enjoyable day. Though Giselle's mood was affected by the closure of pool (due to cleaning) at Mount Faber Safra in the morning, she perked up quickly after we brought her to Altantis City at Delta Sports Complex. It was a indoor playground like Go-Go Bambini of a smaller scale. Not crowded due the fact that it was a weekday.

She enjoyed going through the obstacles and sliding down the tunnel. After about 45 mins there, we collected her Baby Minnie Mouse birthday cake from Bengawan Solo at Tiong Bahru Plaza and sent her home for a bath and dressed her up in her Elmo dress.

Reached her school at about 12nn where she had a lunch before we started the cake ceremony at about 1pm. Giselle's friends and her enjoyed singing the song and blowing the candles. Giselle was a little shy initially and didn't want to blow the candles. Her good friend Vivian kept cheering '' Giselle blow!, Giselle blow!... '' followed by her friends who joined in the cheer... so funny!

Finally Ms Angela suggested all the friends to blow with Giselle. Then Giselle finally blew the 3 candles with her friends. After that, she naturally took the plastic knife and cut it with confidence :) Ms Angela helped to cut the cakes while Giselle nicely bring each slice to the teachers... She received many presents from the teachers.. It was really very nice of them to buy her presents. Ms Angela then commented that Giselle was the only one who went home with many presents after her celebration in school.. Hmm, I am thinking must be she is notorious for being the naughty one in school that made her so ''popular''....

Heard that Vivian went to ask Ms Angela if Giselle is giving out any goodies bag like some of the classmates did. Actually I didn't have the time to prepare any goodies bag for her classmates... I felt so bad about it....

We brought Giselle to Waterloo temple for some praying before we headed home for some rest. The celebration ended with Giselle opening all the presents in the evening after her nap. She received a huge Hello Kitty Plush Toy, Playdoh set, Barbie doll play set, Hello Kitty Doctor set, Casio Electronic Keyboard, Disney storybooks, Tweetybird Plush toy, Hello Kitty mike, OshKosh dress & lotsa of angpows. She was indeed very happy and kept smiling and said throughout today: ''Today is My Birthday & I am 3 years old now!'' Hahaha.

My Cheeky Girl

When she is in a good mood, she will pose and smile nicely in front of camera. If her mood is lousy, she won't even want to cooperate by looking at the camera...

Buffet at Grand Plaza Park Hotel

Had treated my family for some good lunch buffet at this hotel today. For $26.38 per person, there were Teppanyaki, Sashimi, sushi, Poached Salmon, Laksa, Muah Chee, Ice cream, fondue, Dim sum, chinese dishes, Prawn Tempura etc.... Really a very good selection of food. My mum seems to enjoy very much. Giselle didn't really take much food but she enjoyed the company of my family....

Cooking Telephone Porridge with Her Por Por

She could really hold a telephone conversation well now, especially with her Por Por. She loves to talk about the dog, Bobby. What is he doing, ask questions about this and that...

Her Birthday Celebrations with Daryl 2008

Had a simple house warming cum birthday celebration for Giselle's 3rd birthday & Daryl's 2nd Birthday. Just seems like yesterday that they celebrated their 2nd and 1st birthday...
Many kids like Keith, Sherise, Max, Bernard, Zach, Nicole, Brennan, Bernice, An An and her Di Di turned up for this event. The kids had lotsa of fun playing with Giselle toys and the adults were happy chatting and eating away.... :)
