A Gift From Auntie Emily...
Had asked Emily to help me get the Hello Kitty kitchen stove set from Kiddy Palace for me. She has sweetly bought Giselle a Hello Kitty toaster set to make her kitchen set more complete. Giselle was so excited about her toaster set that she kept playing it for about 45min. She did pretend play and toast bread for the whole family... including making Milo with the teapot and cup. She had fun bring the Milo to her daddy and said : "Daddy, Milo please"...

Giselle Shopping Trip at BHG Bugis (Seiyu)
We brought her to Waterloo Kuanyin Temple for praying and we went to BHG Bugis for some shopping... Saw Colette shoes was having sales and let her tried some of the shoes like boots. While she was happily taking out her existing shoes on the cushioned stool, she lost her balance can fell balance.
Luckily impact not great, she just had a little shocked. But she soon forgot about it as she really want to try the boots very much. The boots was a little small but Adrian suggested that we buy her the $3.90 slippers instead. It was quite pretty and since she was happy about the slippers, we went to the cashier. As usually Giselle refused to wear her old shoes back and we had to struggle with her.
And throughout the shopping trip, she was happily carrying her shopping bag and refused to let anyone touch that bag. At times, she will peek at the bag while me and Adrian were looking at things.

Uncle McDonald :)
Had been trying to collect Happy Meals Hello Kitty toys for her these few weeks. Hence has been visiting Mcdonald outlets. Now she is just so excited about going McDonald and these photos were taken at the Harbourfront outlet.
We went to Yoshinoya to have out dinner where Giselle accidentally spill half of her corn cup on the floor.

Dear Mummy and Daddy
I was so glad that most of my friends were here this week! Except that Vivian was not around. Everyone in class missed her! This week, we were still on the theme “Healthy Me”. Let’s take a look what we had learnt this week.
For English, Ms. Angela read us 2 books. One was “I wear my hat” and the other was “Good night, Gorilla”.
“I wear my heat” was a picture book of different people putting on different type of hats in different places and weather. Like if we were at the beach, we put on straw hat so that we could see clearly without the sun ray shining through our eyes. If we were in a place where it was very cold, we put on winter hats so that we would not have frostbites. If we were going out on an outing with my friends, we may put on a cap. There were so many reasons for us to put on our hats! Even when we were asleep, we could even put on night cap!
“Good night, Gorilla” was yet another book filled with lots of pictures! We had fun doing picture talk. First, the zoo keeper walked past the Gorilla’s cage and greeted “good night”. Little did the zoo keeper notice that the gorilla actually took the keys to the cage! So, the gorilla unlocked himself from the cage and tip-toed behind the zoo keeper. Next, the zoo keeper went to the other animals like giraffe, hyena, lion and the armadillo. The cheeky gorilla then unlocked all the animals and they followed the zoo keeper home. When the zoo keeper was home, he greeted his wife good night in the dark and the animals started greeting each other too! The wife was so shocked to hear so many voices. When the zoo keeper’s wife switched on the lights, she saw lots of animals in the room! She quickly sent all the animals back to the zoo. And did you know what? The cheeky gorilla actually followed the wife home again. Hehe! It even slept on the bed with the zoo keeper and his wife! What a cheeky gorilla! There was a moon on every page and Sean seems to be able to locate them on every page!
Ms. Angela also talked to us about healthy and unhealthy food in relation to the theme. She told us that we must eat lots of fruits and vegetable which will help us to grow. Fish would make us clever and milk would make us grow taller and stronger. Hmmm… I wondered when I could be a big girl / boy just like you. Food like potato chips, chocolates, soft drinks and sweets were unhealthy food that we should try not to eat. Eating those foods would make us grow too big.
This week’s pre-phonic sound letter was “o” where the “o” sound is the same as Old orange octopus.
For math, we did threading using the threading toys. There were pictures of a bear, train, cow and tortoise. Both Emma and Sean were very good at threading! They were able to do it without the help of Ms. Angela or Ms. Priya. Both the teachers were very proud of them. As for the rest of us, we were still trying but I was sure that we were getting better!
For craft, we made ice Popsicle with blue colouring and water. Actually, we were supposed to do ice Popsicle painting. However, it didn’t turn into ice as soon as we wanted it to be. So, we would have to wait patiently. We also made lanterns for the upcoming lantern festival. We painted green on the paper and Ms. Angela then cut lines and added strings, chopstick, cellophane paper and ribbons to the lantern. Now they looked very beautiful!
On Friday Afternoon, Ms. Angela told us that Ms. Priya would be leaving us and Ms. Jesmin would be coming in to take our class. I was sure we would all miss Ms. Priya. As a goodbye gift, we did hand printing on a piece of drawing paper and had our name on foam flower pieces. We pasted it unto the paper and presented it to Ms. Priya. Hope everything would go well for her. I was sure you would miss her too, right?
This is all the fun we had this week. Look out for more happening things the following week!

We wronged her.... :(
I felt so guilty after that…
Today me and Adrian brought Giselle to cold storage at Great World… She spilled her water on the floor while drinking it and it wetted her shoes a little. She took out her shoes, but me and Adrian thot she trying to notti by wanting to walk around bare footed. We told her if she is not going to wear her shoes, we will leave it there and she will be staying there with the shoes. Me and Adrian pretended to walk away and she stood there helplessly and no expression at all.
Adrian really walked away, but I was soft-hearted and stood at one side looking at her… then I go over to ask her wear her shoes, she told me wet. Then I realized me and Adrian wronged her. I hugged her and told her, next time must tell us that shoes is wet, cannot wear.. then we will wipe for her.. Now I think back, I still feel very bad.

"Exercise"... so funny!
Giselle has been watching Adrian do Yogo-cobra pose every morning. As we kept telling her that "Daddy is exercising"... her idea of "Exercise" is to do the cobra pose and downward-dog position. Today I ask her to some exercise, immediately she bend down and tried to imitate what her dad did. She even can put her 2 palms on her hand doing what Adrian usually does every morning... I really cannot stop laughing at her... It was just so funny. Hahaha

Happenings at School for the past Week....

Dear Mummy & Daddy
It was very quiet in class all this week. A few of my friends actually stayed home due to Chicken pox. I hoped they would return soon so we could play and have fun together! I was sure it would be livelier with them around. Despite of their absence, the fun never stops! Here’s what happened this week.
For English, Ms. Angela read us a book called “Hairy bear”. Mama and Papa bear was asleep when Mama Bear heard some noises coming from outside and she was too afraid to see what was happening. So, she woke Papa bear up. However, Papa bear refused to wake up and he said that he would fight the robbers when he woke up. Mama bear was a little cross and said that Papa bear was a scaredy cat. To prove that he was not, he woke up and went to find the robbers. When they found where the noise came from, they opened the door… … only to find brother and sister bear eating in the kitchen! We all chuckled when we saw the bears eating in a mess!
Ms. Angela also taught us on the different types of fruits and vegetables. For example, we must eat lots of carrots to see in the dark. Lettuce and cucumbers were found in the salad we eat on Tuesdays. Pumpkin and broccoli were in the soup served to us! I didn’t know we eat this much of vegetables daily! It happened to be a Tuesday when Ms. Angela talked to us about vegetables. She even got some cucumber for us to try! It was very crunchy.
Ms. Angela also talked to us about fruits. Apples were what we ate daily and we could not get enough! Orange, banana, grapes and watermelon were some of the fruits she introduced to us too! Oh yes. Ms, Angela said that we will “poo poo” if we were to eat a lot of banana. (Hehe!)
For math, we did threading using buttons. We were indeed getting pretty good at it. We made it into necklace, bracelet an even belts! It was very colourful. We also did a revision on colours.
For art, we played with dough. This time round, we had new dough! It was orange in color and it had lemon smell. Ms. Tan was the one who prepared the dough for us. A million thanks to her! We also did vegetable leaf painting and apple printing. Vivian was very good at apple printing! She looked for white spaces on the paper and ‘stamped’ her apple. It was very neat and tidy. I sure hoped I could be like her too!
For food fun, we had fruit juice. Hmmm… not quite like fruit juice I must say. Hehe! Ms. Angela actually forgot about the fruit juicer and we used the blender instead. We add in some bananas and apples. It seemed more like a fruit smoothie to me. Sean, Amanda, Yesukhei, Jovan and Kyna kept asking for more! It must be very yummy.
That’s all for this week, Stay tune for more fun next week! I was sure my teachers would have more fun stuffs lined up!

Her Baby Fish Lantern
Had bought her a Fish Lantern to go along with my bigger Fish Lantern. Thought this small size lantern would suit her very much. Though she has quite a few musical lantern, I still prefer her to have traditional hand-made lantern. She was so excited when she saw this and kept shouting "Baby-Fish Lantern"....

Her Long-Lost Friend.. Ernie Puppet
I was on medical leave these few days and Giselle stayed at home to accompany me. Feeling bored, she went in search of new friends in her room and found.... her long-lost friend, Ernie.
Adrian bought this puppet from Carrefour when she was a young baby and she would laugh out loudly when Adrian used this puppet to play and talk to her. Since then, Ernie was forgotten by her and was left lying in the toy box. When she took it out this morning, she kept asking me "what's this?, what's this?"....

This week had been a super quiet week. And most of my classmate did not come to school. However, the fun didn’t stop there! We did a lot of songs, rhymes and story this week. We even had lesson with Totsaurus! It was enjoyable to have them in our class. Like they say, the more the merrier!
Ms. Angela read us 2 stories this week. It was called “Not again, Anna!” and “Mrs. Wishy Washy”. “Not again, Anna!” was a story of Anna who yells and screams to get what she wants. Ms. Angela says that we could not do that. To get what we wanted, we must say “please” and “thank you” after we received it. When we get dirty, we had to clean ourselves up with tissue. Not with our hands. And if tissue didn’t do the trick, of course, then we washed our hands!
“Mrs. Wishy Washy” was a story of 3 farm animals, the cow, the pig and the duck. They saw mud one day and took turns to play in it. However, when Mrs. Wishy Washy saw the dirty animals, she was very upset and sent them all to the tub for a wash. “Wishy washy, wishy washy” The animals were all clean now. But when the animals left the tub, they headed back to the puddle of mud and played again. Oh no! I think Mrs. Wishy Washy was getting more upset this time round.
For math, we did puzzle play. This time, we were allowed to go around helping our friends. Some of our friends have some difficulty in solving the puzzles. I am glad I helped them.
For art, we did rubber stamping on a piece of paper, tea bag printing, play dough as well as making of Milo! The Milo tasted was delicious especially when we made it on our own.
Ms. Angela also taught us a new counting rhyme. It went like this,
6 Little Ducks that I once knew; fat ones, skinny ones, fair ones too.
But the one little duck with the feather on his back,
He led the others with a Quack, Quack, Quack. Quack, Quack, Quack--Quack, Quack, Quack.
He led the others with a Quack, Quack, Quack.
I could sing it pretty well. Would you like to sing with me too?
Looking forward to next week and hoping most of my friends would be back. I could not wait to experience the fun of having all my friends back!

Today My Daddy 'Pom-Pom' for me... HELP!!!!!
Mummy wasn't feeling too well today and hence Daddy offered to bathe me for the 2nd time...since I was a baby. Initially he didn't put enough shampoo on my hair and Mummy got to keep asking him to be generous. I was screaming my heads off when Daddy was enjoying pouring water over my head. And Mummy hor, instead of saving me, kept snapping with her camera....OMG..... **faint**
