Next 1 week after Discharge from Gleneagles Hospital

18 Jul 05

Finally today can discharge from hospital. I am so excited to bring Giselle home. Having done all the documents, I left the hospital at 4pm with the drainage tubes on me. My CL will not be here until Tue. So my hb took turns to take care of bb during the nite.

We have to bring Giselle to Polyclinic to check for Jaundice today. Set off at about 2pm and we have to go rooms after rooms for testing. Many nurses and people commented Giselle that she is very adorable and pretty.

When we have to bring Giselle to the lab room to draw blood, I try to look away. Her cries really made me cried too. My heart is so pain.

My hb has to rush to work during the middle of check up. The result came out to be 278 and doc said I have to bring her to KKH A&E to be admitted for photolight therapy. I was in a messed and really confused. My hb was not with me and I called him quickly. I took a cab with my CL and bb to KKH A&E. It was quite a long wait and when bb was brought to the nursery for the photolight … I cried… seeing that she has to be strip naked for it and blind-folded. My heart really really dropped and I really cannot control my tears. I cried and cried. My hb told me I have to be strong for my bb and she needs my support. But I just can’t bear to see her suffer.

We went home after that for dinner and wash up and went back to see her again at KKH.
