Going, Going, Gone!!!!!

Finally her fever was gone by this morning.... after 5 long long days....
Been so worried during the last 5 days when her stubborn fever refused to go away. Ms Angela and Wang Lao Shi were quite concern about her and will sent smses to me to check on her. They are really a pair of caring teachers.

Well, today was my birthday and was glad she was well enough to go out with me. We went to her daddy office at about 11am and later went to IMM to look for some renovation quotations.

Giselle was quite tired and so slept in the car from Orchard to IMM for about 45mins. Later, she slept at home from 4.30pm till 7pm and played with her Gong-Gong all the way when her energy got charged back.

Adrian and I took the opportunityt to go Tiong Bahru Plaza to buy a cake to celebrate my birthday. Hoping she could sing a birthday song for me but she didn't though she really enjoyed eating a slice of cake on her own :)

Still Hot Hot.....like a HOT DOG!

Giselle fever still lingers.... When the drug effect is gone, she will look like only half conscious. Asked her if she wants to go kai-kai, she will shake her head. But when I asked her if she wants to stay at home to sleep, she said 'Yes'. The funny thing is when the fever syrup has brought her temperature down, she can tell me that she wants to go shopping... Haha

Hence, I took a cab down to great world city and she had some fun ridding those kiddy rides without me putting any coins...

You just look at her expressions in the photos, doesn't look like she is sick at all right? haha

Still running FEVER..... Haiz....

Giselle's fever never went away... Her temperature can be as high as 40.5 like last nite. Sleep has never been good for the 3 of us since she has the fever. Adrian and I have to take turns to wake up to sponge her and take her temperature.

This morning just took her to Gleneagles, thinking of consulting Dr Ngiam sinc her fever din go down much even after medication. Who knows his clinic is not opened and in the end, we headed to Tiong Bahru Plaza to look for PD Dr Koh. Had started her on antibiotics as the fever has been high for a few days.

1st day of CNY, we still brought her to my grandma place and my in-laws place as usual to bai4-nian3... stayed at my in-law house till 5.30pm. She refused to take her afternoon nap there and sleep from 6.30am till 7.15am the following day the moment to reach home...

This year CNY is really very different for us... just hope she will recover totally fast.

The following pictures were taken on the 2nd day of CNY... Brought her to Vivo GIANT to make her happy as she loves sitting on supermarket trolley...

Eve of Chinese New Year... She had a fall....

We were going to our families's place for reunion dinner and Adrian decided to let her bring her newly bought 4-wheels bicycle to Lengkok Bahru. She was riding on the bicycle from our block to carpark when Adrian tried to push the bicycle by the front handle.

As he was walking, just at a spilt second, Giselle just lost her balance from the bicycle seat and fell to her right and landed on the ground. Her knees and hands were ok but her forehead was bleeding and scratched badly. I was really very worried when I picked her up and saw the injury. She was crying really badly and for quite some time.

Adrian SIL told us that we should send her to A&E for some proper cleaning of the wound to prevent infection. But we were thinking we should monitor her more as she seems active as normal on the same nite.

Conincidentally, Giselle came down with fever after about 3am after midnite when I woke up to check on her. Adrian and I were deciding if we should send her to hospital in case due to the fall. After some thoughts, we decided that we monitor her longer for any vomiting before we rush her to A&E....

to be continued...

Her New Tricycle

Adrian bought her a new tricycle from Carrefour and she was so excited about it. Intially she did not know how to peddle and soon mastered the skill on the same day. She was really very proud of the way she cycled... :)

She a 2.5 years old toddler now...

And her progress is tremendous....

She can actually start counting items accurately and recognise colours correctly in English and Mandarin. She can teach me chinese nursery rhymes which I have not learnt before.

However, Adrian concern about her is that she does not talk in front of strangers and gets very unfriendly by avoiding eye contact with them. Her shyness made her daddy very angry at times. We had always encourage her to say ''Hello'' or wave ''bye'' to aunties and uncles but she simply refuse to do so no matter how we told her off.

Hope she will be much better when she is older....

A Visit to the Goat Farm @ Hay's Dairy

Last nite when we told Giselle that we will be bringing her to Goat farm to feed the Goats, she was so happy and excited about it. Then after midnite, I on the room lights to find mosquitoes, she woke up and thought it was morning, smiled shouted 'Goat Farm'! Hahaha!

It took us about 40mins from our house to Lim Chu Kang. When we reached there, it was milking time for the Goats. A group of goats were led to the milking area where pumps were inserted on their ''nipples''? Giselle was very happy when we brought her to the area where we could get closer to the goats and fed them grass.

Initially she was quite fearful of the goats... but after some warming up, she began to enjoy feeding the goats, especially ''her bb goats'' which she always claimed. The baby goats were very cute and Giselle couldn't get enuff of them.

We ended the trip by purchasing some goats milk for tasting. Surprisely there isn't any foul smell and it taste quite nice actually:)
