Eve of Chinese New Year... She had a fall....

We were going to our families's place for reunion dinner and Adrian decided to let her bring her newly bought 4-wheels bicycle to Lengkok Bahru. She was riding on the bicycle from our block to carpark when Adrian tried to push the bicycle by the front handle.

As he was walking, just at a spilt second, Giselle just lost her balance from the bicycle seat and fell to her right and landed on the ground. Her knees and hands were ok but her forehead was bleeding and scratched badly. I was really very worried when I picked her up and saw the injury. She was crying really badly and for quite some time.

Adrian SIL told us that we should send her to A&E for some proper cleaning of the wound to prevent infection. But we were thinking we should monitor her more as she seems active as normal on the same nite.

Conincidentally, Giselle came down with fever after about 3am after midnite when I woke up to check on her. Adrian and I were deciding if we should send her to hospital in case due to the fall. After some thoughts, we decided that we monitor her longer for any vomiting before we rush her to A&E....

to be continued...

Her New Tricycle

Adrian bought her a new tricycle from Carrefour and she was so excited about it. Intially she did not know how to peddle and soon mastered the skill on the same day. She was really very proud of the way she cycled... :)

She a 2.5 years old toddler now...

And her progress is tremendous....

She can actually start counting items accurately and recognise colours correctly in English and Mandarin. She can teach me chinese nursery rhymes which I have not learnt before.

However, Adrian concern about her is that she does not talk in front of strangers and gets very unfriendly by avoiding eye contact with them. Her shyness made her daddy very angry at times. We had always encourage her to say ''Hello'' or wave ''bye'' to aunties and uncles but she simply refuse to do so no matter how we told her off.

Hope she will be much better when she is older....

A Visit to the Goat Farm @ Hay's Dairy

Last nite when we told Giselle that we will be bringing her to Goat farm to feed the Goats, she was so happy and excited about it. Then after midnite, I on the room lights to find mosquitoes, she woke up and thought it was morning, smiled shouted 'Goat Farm'! Hahaha!

It took us about 40mins from our house to Lim Chu Kang. When we reached there, it was milking time for the Goats. A group of goats were led to the milking area where pumps were inserted on their ''nipples''? Giselle was very happy when we brought her to the area where we could get closer to the goats and fed them grass.

Initially she was quite fearful of the goats... but after some warming up, she began to enjoy feeding the goats, especially ''her bb goats'' which she always claimed. The baby goats were very cute and Giselle couldn't get enuff of them.

We ended the trip by purchasing some goats milk for tasting. Surprisely there isn't any foul smell and it taste quite nice actually:)

Another Christmas Trip to KL

Since we have enjoyed last year Christmas Trip at Traders Hotel KL, we have decided to bring Giselle there again for some relaxtion and shopping.

We reached KL on 22 Dec 07 3.30pm, after a 5 hours journey via Aeroline double-deck bus at 10.45am. Boarding Point was at a convenient location at Harbour Front and the bus and meal were quite comfortable. No jams at immigration and Tuas checkpoint.

Giselle were very wide awake during the journey until 2.10pm when she finally dozed off for her afternoon nap. I was so shagged managing this princess's demands and it was definately not easy to bring her for a holiday at her age.

Generally she enjoyed the hotel stay very much... refusing to take her naps as she prefers to explore the suite throughout. She liked to wear the bedroom slippers and walked about the room. She loved the spacious bathroom and long bathtub... she kept saying she wanted to pom pom there.

On the second day, we went for shopping after we finished our breakfast. She always wanted us to ''bao-bao'' (carried) when we were in the crowded KLCC shopping centre. One thing was that she loved taking the buggy ride to KLCC.

She enjoyed her swim there too!!!!!:)

View from Traders Club lounge was magnificent and doubt we could get such good view from other hotels.
On the last day, we told a cab to Corrus Hotel for Aeroline Coach bus to return to Singapore. Bus suppose to leave at 9am and we discovered that Adrian has left his wallet in the cab we just took. Panicked we quickly called our hotel whol managed to trace the cab driver for us. The driver kindly drove over to return the wallet to us, with all money untouched. We were very grateful and give him a MYR100 tip for his honesty. We would like like to thank a kind soul whom offered to drive us back to hotel for help when he knew we lost our wallet :)
The journey home were quite smooth. However, me and Giselle were shagged out from the whole journey and we took a 3hour nap when we reached home.

We Have Sold Our Lovely House

We finally made the BIG decision to sign on the dotted line to sell off our flat today for $526,000. Though I was glad that our lovely flat was sold to a nice doctor, I felt sad because Adrian and me built our lovely nest here and had Giselle to join us later on. She is so used to staying on high floor looking down from our full-length window to count the cars, see planes flying past and the beautiful lighted Christmas tree at Mount Faber, not to mention the beautiful fireworks......

Promoted to Nursery I!!! Yeah!!!

Giselle has been promoted frpm Playgroup to Nursery I at Delcare since 3 Dec 07. I am glad to know that her form teacher will still be Ms Angela but was a little disappointed that her chinese teacher Wang Lao Shi will be teaching another class instead.

Everytime when Wang Lao Shi asked Giselle if Wang Lao Shi can go to another class, she will reply : No! Guess she really likes her chinese teacher too... Nevertheless, Giselle new chinese teacher is Jiang Lao Shi and heard that she is a very gentle teacher. Hope Giselle won't bully her in the end.

Her classroom area has been changed and it took me a little to get use to putting her belongings in place. Christmas is round the corner and heard that Giselle class will be joining in the carolling on 18 Dec 07.
