Her Progress at 34 Months

Giselle recently has been reminding the people around her that can we cannot say ‘Aye!’ and ‘Ya; must say ‘Yes’. This little cheeky girl, she is the one who has been using that 2 words and after we reminding her so many times, she now turns around to remind us.

Heard from Ms Angela that she and her classmates chit-chat a lot during meal times and took a long time to finish their meals. I really can’t imagine what the kids spoke about, must be very enjoyable to hear them interact.

Just last week, when I left her to sit with Vivian in school in the morning, I was very surprised that she said ‘’ Mummy, I want you to go office’’. Haha, I don’t know if I should be sad or happy that she’s getting very comfortable in school and don’t need me that much any more… Nevertheless, her Daddy and I are happy that she has very dedicated teachers who takes care of her really well and will frequently update me of her progress and send me mms pictures of her in school at times :)

For quite some time, Giselle has been complaining that her tummy is painful during walking. Her daddy and I were quite worried for some growth in her tummy or what… Finally made an appointment to see Dr Ngiam on 24 May. Fortuantely he told us that Giselle is definitely fine, she’s just having some behaviour problem. He said that it’s true she feels uncomfortable during the walk and that’s normal. To kids, whenever they are uncomfortable, they like to pin-point their usual spot that it is painful, normally they like to point to their stomach or somewhere near their chest ribs. At least this visit gave us some form of assurance.

Giselle can be driving me nuts when she refused to take my instructions and mess up the house, or refuse to open her mouth to take her meals. When I made her face the wall, she would cry and screamed and sometimes even struggle, and all top of these, she will get very angry and bang the door many times when I just ignore her. Guess she has gotten some of my genes that our temper is really bad.
