Cycling Fun @ East Coast Park

Been quite some time since we bring the kids out for the outdoor sports, hence we brought them to The Big Splash @ East Coast Park for some ride out.

Left the house at 9am, after hanging Daddy's bicycle on the car and bringing the barangs plus the 2 little ones, we started the car at 9.30am, reached there about 20mins later. By then, it was scorching hot there!!!

Nevertheless, mummy braved through the hot sun and managed to rent a bicycle for Giselle and myself plus Jaren :) Loaded the little one up onto my bicycle and he was practically crying and struggling to get off the bicycle when I rode. haha! It was his 1st attempt on the bicycle, and probably that's explained why he wasn't too happy :)

Could get a helmet of his size, so let him wear a hat and he kept pulling it down and threw it on the ground. Anyway, we just gave in to his way.

Though he was uncomfortable on the bicycle, he did have some fun walking around in the park and near the canal :)

We ended the trip at Carl's Junior fast food cafe which I must comment the service is really slow there!

My Pretty Princess

Giselle has been putting on quite a fair bit of weight recently and I am really glad. This halter neck dress has been in the wardrobe for quite some time as it has been loose for her. Now finally she can bring out the beauty of the dress :)

I went to buy a Polaroid Camera recently so that she can have some fun with the cartoon characters that the images were printed on. She simply loves the photos and films that comes in Disney Princess, Hello Kitty, Winnie the Pooh. Will upload the pixs and camera when I have the time again :)

What is it that's in the Milkbags?...

Well, it's actually concentrated soup stock that I cooked via a slow cooker. That's actually meant to be used when cooking Jaren's meals.

I will usually varies the ingredients that is used cook the soup stock. Most of the time is roots vegetables, chicken bones, pig bones, as well as soya bean. No seasoning used, only the best natural flavours :)

No Longer A Baby...

At 13 months old, I just realized the little baby whom I have been taking care of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since 2 months old is growing up alot each day!

Jaren is able to express his thoughts quite clearly, at least to me. Like when his diaper is soiled, he would look at me and keep touching his diaper.

One of his favorite activities is going out for walks. So, once I told him we are going for a walk, he would smile and babble excitedly, walk to the shoe cabinet and wait for the door to be opened. He would take his shoes out and sit on the floor. When I am sitted down, he would walk to me and sit on my legs, waiting for me to wait shoes for him, of course, smiling all the way! He loves to press the lift buttons. The above photo was just one of his excited expressions when outside :)

Nowadays, he would also choose a storybook from the shelf in my hall, walk and pass the book to me, sit on my legs, waiting for me to read to him. Well, that's what I always do when reading to him since he was much younger :)

Giselle is Jaren's favourite Person in the world!

One can never imagine how close these 2 siblings are even though they are not twins and both of them have a wide age gap.

We have been waiting for Jaren's first words and one would expect is either me - "Mama" or "Papa/Daddy". Well, we are all wrong! His words are actually "Jie Jie"!!! Just like yesterday when Jaren's arm accidentally swing and hurt Giselle's left eye. Giselle was in pain and went to Daddy for comfort. Jaren could actually sense the pain and he walked all the way to Giselle, touched her and called "Jie Jie". Giselle in the end turned and hugged his little brother. It was a really touching scene for all of us. We all knew Giselle wasn't angry with her little brother, she just wanted some attention from both of us :)

A New Car Seat for the King-to-Be!

Seeing his infant car seat can no longer fit him, we went to Takashimaya Baby Fair to buy this Nania carseat which cost $139. Upon bringing the carseat to our car, we realised that this carseat is bulky. So we named this the King's carseat! haha!

Hello Kitty Cake from Hello Kitty Cafe!

For all Hello Kitty lovers out there, including Giselle!:)

My brother and Sister-in-law just came back from Taipei and they hand-carried this cake all the way from there.

Kudos to them! And it made Giselle very happy amidst her sadness from missing her Daddy who is in Auckland now :)

We Will Miss You!

Well, Daddy was leaving for Auckland, NZ this evening and we had sent him off at the airport.

After dinner at The Soup Restaurant, the 3 of them had some fun playing and running around at the aviation gallery at T2.

When it was time to say Goodbye to their Daddy, Giselle cried. She is very much attached to her Daddy since young. Hence , this separation is a bit of a challenge for her to overcome.

姐姐教弟弟读书!

Since it is Jaren's Birthday today, I brought the kids out to ION for a meal at Itacho Sushi.

Thereafter brought them to Prologue bookshop, hoping to get some assessment books for Giselle. Who knows, the assessment books section were taken out and replaced with kids storybooks.

Hence, the both of them spent some time there, reading (Giselle) and messing (Jaren) books.

Jaren's 1st Birthday Celebration - Part II

Had a mini-celebration at Prima Revolving Tower Restaurant today and Giselle was really fasinated by the tower that we had lunch on. We ate dim-sum and fried noodles and had Jaren's cake cut there too.

Jaren was very happy when all of us were singing the birthday song for him as we saw him kept smiling. Anyway, we were glad he did enjoy this celebration that we prepared for him. In addition, the service was good and all of us enjoyed the meal there.

Giselle had also prepared a gift and a card for him. She also draw him as superboy in the card. Haha!

Daddy's Birthday!

About a month after my birthday will be Adrian's birthday....

We didn't let Giselle attend her usual kindy class today as we brought them to Borders for some books reading. Both of them enjoyed the trip alot. Giselle was engrossed reading her Disney Princess" books while Jaren was happily making friends around. He loves the space and carpetted floor there which allowed him to walk about and pull out books!

Eversince Jaren has learnt to walk, very seldom we will see him crawl around and now we are starting to miss his crawling stunt.
