Belly Dancing Night @ Bukit Merah Central
Building Confidence....
Hence, we thought of bringing her for outdoor spots with swimming and cycling as a start. After a few rounds of being in water, she doesn't cry anymore whenever her head is under the water or has drank some pool water accidentally.
I would be bring her around to try some enrichment classes to improve herself academically and socially. Though she is fine with her usual classmates, we find it is time we bring her out of her comfort zone. Hopefully she would be more confident of herself outside.
We brought her another round of water play at Mount Faber Safra where she met a sweet 4year old girl named Anna. Giselle had some fun playing water gun with Anna. She also opened up abit by answering Anna's Daddy questions like what is her name etc. However, could see she was still abit fearful and kept looking at us.
Nevertheless, Adrian and I were happy that she did try to be friendlier this time :)

Carrot Bread
One of my good friend Stephanie has helped me bought this Bluesky breadmaker from Carrefour. Finally had the courage to bake my first bread today after having gathering all the ingredients.
It took a total of 3hours from doughing to baking by the machine and the carrot bread was ready to eat at 10.30pm. The appearance wasn't too bad and the taste was nice too, but the texture was too moist as I may have added too much butter in it.
Wanted to do homemade for Giselle and her Daddy and they were excited about it too. However, Giselle only likes to admire and not eat it. She took a few mouths of the bread and refused to eat more... hahaha....
Will continue to perfect my skills to as not to add this item to my collection of white elephant in the storeroom..... :)

A Fun Day @ Downtown East
My family and me had organised a bbq cum fun day the Downtown East at Pasir Ris since I got the chalet.
I had check into the chalet where my grandma and uncle stay on the friday night. Adrian and I brought Giselle there to have some fun at Wild Wild Wet. Her favourite Gong-Gong joined us and all 4 of us were playing happily.
During the evening, we had bbq just outside our Chalet unit, eating all the unhealthy stuff. Even though I still have my cough, I just ate and ate the chicken wings non-stop. It has been a long time since we had bbq, so I just ignore 'being healthy'. hahaha
We took her out during the BBQ and went to take the Ferris Wheel indoor at Ehub! since they were having a promotion price of $11.50 for 3 pax.
As usual, Giselle had a whole day of fun and missed her afternoon nap. She slept on the way home and we have a hardtime waking her up. She was so cranky that nothing could calm her down....

Amara Sanctuary Resort 29 Sep - 1 Oct 08
It cost us $580 for 2 nights inclusive of breakfast. We were given a free upgrade to Premier Room and it was big room with free broadband. The toilet was big too and Giselle enjoyed every corner of the room.
The king size bed was big and comfy but Giselle fell from the high bed on the 2nd day of our stay. She cried for a long time due to the pain on her left hand. I thought she twisted her joints or what but luckily did not.
For dinner on the first night, we went to Beaufort Hotel to treat ourselves to a sumpteous international BBQ buffet. The prawns were very fresh and desserts were yummy.
After breakfast the next day, we brought Giselle to have a dip at the water play area near the Koufu food court at Palawan beach. We met a family with 4 kids from kelantan and Giselle enjoyed the company of the children. They played sand castle and "attacked" each other with water gun and water splashing. Her gong-gong suddenly appeared to join us for lunch there while the sky was drizzling with rain.
The resort has a 4 swimming pools situated at different part of the resort. The had sky pool meant for adults and dream pool meant for kids.
We checked out on wed which was a public holiday. Giselle was really tired as she has enjoyed every minute of the stay at sentosa without taking her afternoon nap.
